Softmodded xboxes are more vulnerable to damage by the users. Stay out of FTP or file explorer if you do not know what you are doing. Softmodded xboxes can go on xbox live when booted with the game in the disk tray but if you are using an upgraded hard drive your xbox will be permanently banned from xbox live so the only way to get back on is by getting a new xbox. Using modified maps on Halo 2 matchmaking will get you banned. Using the game and DVD copy feature is to be used only for backing up games that you own, using it for any form of piracy is illegal. Use your softmod at your own risk.
